Jeffrey Erwin entered private practice following years with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office where he served as a litigator representing the Department of Transportation in real property, environmental, and condemnation matters. Previously, Jeffrey represented the Department of Social and Health Services where his practice focused on constitutional law and civil rights cases in the federal courts. Prior to entering the legal profession, Jeffrey enjoyed a diverse career, including work in ecology, real estate development, and white-water rafting. Jeffrey is known as a creative problem solver and thoughtful communicator who is guided by a strong sense of practicality and dedication to excellence.

Areas of Practice

Jeffrey focuses his litigation practice on real property, land use, and environmental cases, and provides advice to clients on these issues and a wide range of business, transactional and contract matters. Jeffrey has handled complex hazardous waste cases, land use appeals, property torts such as inverse condemnation, trespass, and nuisance, real property disputes, and real estate transactions. Jeffrey’s past and present practice emphasizes eminent domain and condemnation actions, in which he represents both property owners and government entities. Jeffrey is also expanding his practice in estate planning and probate.
