Elissa Kokis has practiced law in the Olympia area since 2003. Ms. Kokis received her juris doctorate from the University of Oregon School of Law and also graduated from the UO with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. While in Oregon, she worked in the mental health field for many years in both research and treatment of persons with severe mental illness. Ms. Kokis brings that same level of compassion and strength to her diverse law practice, including business law, estate planning/probate, family law, and personal injury. Ms. Kokis is a strong advocate for collaborative practice and serves on the board of Sound Collaboration. She is an active member of the community serving as a Board member of the Olympia Waldorf School, a member of the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce and the South Sound Chapter of the Northwest Ecobuilding Guild. Ms. Kokis is the co-owner of Knee Deep Ranch, a small family farm specializing in the sustainable production of healthy and nutritious meats.
